Director with Airport Liaison Team(ALT) on the Department of Aviation’s (DOA) ALTNEXT airport improvement program. Represented all Airlines providing oversite and collaboration with DOA, Airport consultants, Designers, Contractors, Airport Authorities(FAA/TSA/Atlanta Airport Terminal Corp (AATC)/City of Atlanta (COA)), and other Project Management Organizations
Program includes major renovation and new construction projects at the Central Passenger Complex, Airfield, Parking, Support Facilities, Hotel /Travel plaza, Cargo and Noise abatement affected Community zones.
Stakeholder Support
- Collaborated on practices with DOA Senior and Area Leaders, project managers, design teams in the planning, design development, Pre-construction and execution activities.
- Facilitated meetings on Airline project proposals with Airline, DOA, AATC personnel to evaluate project for operational need, impact and DOA program consideration
- Stakeholder on DOA Program evaluated project announcements, stage reviews, providing input, raising issues and taking ownership of action item in support of Airlines.
- Developed and facilitated resolutions to construction issues, performed in-depth Logistics studies with stakeholders to minimize impact to Airline as well as Airport Operations.
Reporting
- Bi-Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Adhoc project presentations, status reports to Domestic and International carriers.
- Project Design review reports to evaluate Designs for scope, layout, materials, security and code compliance and Value Engineering
- Detailed and focused reports to AATC, Southwest and Delta Airlines with project status, coordination, issues and impact assessments
- Team reports through the consolidation of DOA program updates tracking DOA and COA approvals, key contacts, look ahead, progress status, as well as key milestones
