Central Terminal Complex
Roadway Canopy – Domestic Departures and Arrivals scope that included Head-house Structural modifications, renovations to Building Ventilation, Entrance vestibules, Exterior facade, Curbside check-in, Roadway Lighting, with Air pillow canopy and integrated lighting system
Elevated Pedestrian walkways – Domestic Departures level scope included installation of 4 walkway systems with structural modifications to Head-house, site work to support steel with connection to Roadway canopy and Parking decks
Security Checkpoint Expansion – South Checkpoint expansion demolition of Delta Check-in zone expansion to 10 lanes and Secure Exit Lanes
Ride Share – Relocation established dedicated location on Arrivals level with covered pedestrian canopies. Dedicated Ride Share Geo-fenced Hold lot with Uber/Lyft driver release system
Concourse T – 5 gate building extension with enabling scope – the demolition of Delta GSE Shop, Fire Station, Parking as well as rerouting Departures and Arrivals exit roadways
Plane Train Tunnel Extension – Program to facilitate additional train capacity that includes complex modifications to Headhouse, track, tunnels and vertical circulation as well as enabling work for new Hotel
Life Safety – Fire Alarm system upgrades at each Concourse to consolidate and centralize alarm reporting, expand deployment of AED blood response kits
Southwest Airlines GSE – Ground Service Equipment site centralization electrical, trash compactor, paving, parking and safety striping at Concourse C
Airport Facility
Aircraft Deicing Facility Site (Southside) – New facility for south side aircraft deicing operations included equipment fueling, equipment parking, glycol and deicing material delivery, storage as well as employee support space. Extensive Ramp scope with installation of underground glycol recovery system and associated storage recovery tanks, ramp video monitoring system, FAA aircraft movement plan, aircraft hardstand positions
Delta GSE Shop Relocation -Terminal 5 Enabling scope project providing site prep including site excavation, rock blasting removals, establishing new access roadways, new LOD Fencing, subterranean boring – connections for power, communication and Airport security
Southwest Airlines Cargo –
+ Facility Roof Replacement program – New Lighting, Rubb roof system replacement planning with FAA, Delta Airlines coordination
+ Facility parking and trucking access – Security change to establish one way access and exit, address frontage GDOT roadway safety requirements with guard rail installation
Parking
Seven level garage – with automated space availability by level and pedestrian bridge connection to Airport shuttle train station.
Park and Ride Lot – facility that includes Vehicle covered and Truck parking spaces
Airside
Fuel system underground Casing repairs with taxiway closures and restrictions
End Around Taxiway – Planning activities, coordination with Airlines as well as FAA to facilitate enhanced aircraft movement to reduce aircraft taxiway and runway crossovers
Pavement planning program – Taxi and Runway full replacement with 24 hour a day paving operation to minimize Airport operational impact
Exterior painting of all Concourses of Central Terminal Complex
Jet Bridge Replacement – Phased program to replace 139 end of life Jet bridges in coordination with FAA, Operations and Airlines
Maintenance programs – Airfield Striping, Runway Rubber Removal, Lighting systems, Erosion control with FAA controlled movement restrictions and shutdowns
Emergency Power Generation – planning to locate gas powered generators to supply emergency backup power at each Concourse with coordination of install by Georgia Power and Light

Noise Insulation Program – Airport sponsored program to provide aircraft noise reduction treatment to facilities in close proximity to airport boundaries
